Description

This is a mid-19th century house, extended in the later 19th century. It is built of rendered and painted stone rubble, with a slate roof featuring a gable end on the left and a hipped end on the right, and a brick chimney stack on the right-hand, hipped end. The house likely follows a two-room double-depth plan, with a smaller room positioned behind the main front room, and an entrance hall to the left, likely containing a rear staircase. A further extension to the rear includes a single-room range, with a second entrance on the side elevation. The front façade is regular, with two windows, and features a likely 20th century four-panel door to the left, and a likely 19th century eight-pane sash window to the right. The first floor has two likely 19th century six-pane sash windows. A 20th century door is present on the side elevation. The interior has not been inspected. The building is included on the list for its contribution to the group value of the surrounding buildings.
