Description
No 68 Fore Street is a terraced house located in Port Isaac, dating from the early to mid 19th century. It is constructed of stone rubble and features a slate roof with gable ends and a brick chimney stack on the left-hand gable end. The house has a one-room plan with the entrance on the right, likely leading to a stair hall. It stands two storeys tall and has a regular single-window front, showcasing original early 19th-century sash windows that do not have horns. The ground floor includes a sash window to the left, set below a brick segmental arch, and a part-glazed 20th-century door to the right, which has a timber lintel. The interior has not been inspected. This property is included for its group value as part of a largely unaltered 19th-century terrace of eight cottages.
