Description
No 64 Fore Street is a terraced house located in Port Isaac, dating from the early to mid 19th century. The building is constructed of rendered stone rubble and features a slate roof with gable ends and a 20th-century brick stack on the left-hand gable end. It has a one-room plan with an entrance on the right, which likely leads to a stair hall. The house is two storeys high and has a regular single-window front, with brick segmental arches over the ground floor openings. The ground floor includes a tall 20th-century 24-pane sash window with horns on the left and a part-glazed 20th-century door on the right. Above, the first floor has a similar sash window positioned directly above the ground floor window. The interior has not been inspected. This house is included for its group value as part of a largely unaltered 19th-century terrace of eight cottages.
