Description

28 and 30 West Street are an unequal pair of town houses, likely originally one house, possibly a farmhouse, dating from the 18th century. The front was remodeled in the mid-19th century. The exterior features stucco on a rubble front and a steep scantle slate roof, with a rear rubble lateral stack. The buildings have a single-depth plan and are two storeys high with a two-window range. The late 19th-century windows are six-pane horned sashes. There are approximately central pairs of doorways with plain pilasters, consoles, and a moulded hood above a modillion cornice, leading to three-panel doors. The interior has not been inspected.
