Description

26 West Street is a town house, possibly a former farmhouse, dating from the 18th century and refronted in the mid-19th century. The front features incised stucco on rubble, and it has a steep dry slate roof with a brick lateral stack at the rear. The building has a single-depth plan and stands two storeys high with a symmetrical three-window front. The windows are mid-19th century six-pane hornless sashes, and there is a central carved stucco doorway with a four-panel door. The interior has not been inspected.
