Description

10 and 12 Southgate Street is a town house dating from the early to mid-19th century. It features incised stucco on what is likely a rubble base, with a dry slate roof and a cast-iron ogee gutter. The building has a double-depth plan with rear wings and stands two storeys tall. The overall facade has a four-window range, including a one-window bay on the left and a symmetrical three-window front on the right. The original windows are 12-pane hornless sashes, and there is a six-panel door with an overlight, accessed by a short flight of stone steps. The interior has not been inspected.
