Description

A pair of town houses dating from the early 19th century, located on Quay Hill, Falmouth. The houses are constructed with stucco and render over rubble foundations, and have a slate roof. They are built on a shallow-depth plan, with a central pair of rear service wings. The front elevation is symmetrical, with three windows per floor. The exterior features quoin strips and a first-floor sill string. Original 16-pane hornless sash windows are present on the lower floors of the right-hand house; these are boarded over on the lower floors of the left-hand house. Late 19th-century four-pane sash windows, with horns, are visible on the second floor, flanking a pair of blind central windows above a wide round-arched doorway. The doorway contains a blind spoked fanlight, and an original pair of six-panel doors, with the left-hand door boarded over. The interior has not been inspected.
