Description
No. 15 Kenwyn Street is an early 19th century town house, now a shop. The front elevation originally had stucco, which has been replaced with render, and the roof is covered in asbestos slate with a hipped return on the left side. The building follows a double-depth plan. The front has two storeys and a three-window arrangement. Most windows are original 12-pane hornless sashes, with a later 4-pane horned sash on the first floor centre, and a shop front installed in the mid-19th century. The shop front includes small panes, pilasters with roundels, and a moulded entablature that extends over the second doorway to the house. The shop’s interior was altered in the 20th century, and the remainder of the interior has not been inspected.
