Description
The Rawle tomb, located approximately 25 metres south-east of the Church of St Martin, is a chest tomb dating from 1820. It commemorates William Rawle, who died at the age of 45, and his wife, Elizabeth, who died in 183- at the age of 57. The tomb features coursed rubble sides resting on a plinth, with an incised slate lid. There is also a plaque on the north side dedicated to Harriet Smith Edey, who died in 1913 at the age of 69. The tomb has a rectangular plan.
