House 10 Metres To North East Of St Torney

This is a house located 10 metres to the north-east of St Torney, dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of stone rubble with dressed quoins and features a slate roof with gable ends that extend over a rear outshut. The house has stone rubble end stacks and a double depth plan, with the principal rooms situated at the front. The larger hall-kitchen is likely on the right, while the parlour is on the left, both heated by end stacks. There are narrow service rooms across the rear.

The exterior is two storeys high and has an almost symmetrical three-window front, with the entrance slightly to the left of centre. It features a painted, possibly slate, 19th-century porch with a 20th-century door. The porch is flanked by two 19th-century three-light casements that have dressed stone arches and slate strings above. The first floor has two 19th-century three-light casements on either side of a central two-light casement. The interior has not been inspected.
