Description
This is a house located in Altarnun, dating from the early 19th century, with few later alterations. The building is constructed of slatestone rubble with a rendered front and features a slurried slate roof with gable ends, although the stacks have been removed. The layout consists of a two-room plan, with one room at the front and another at the rear on the right side, and the entrance is located on the left. There is a single-storey outshut along the entire rear, which is heated by a stack at the back. The house stands two storeys high on a plinth and has two windows, all of which are 16-pane sashes set in plain raised architraves. To the left, there is a four-panelled and glazed door with a 20th-century flat hood above it. On the left side of the building, there is a single-storey covered passage with a 20th-century door at the front. At the rear, the roof extends in a catslide over the outshut. The interior has not been inspected.
