Description

The garden wall and railings at the front of the Methodist Church were likely built in the early 19th century. They feature granite gate-piers that are square in shape, supporting a 20th-century wrought iron gate and a wrought-iron overthrow that probably dates from the 19th century. The structure is flanked by low stone rubble walls topped with moulded granite coping, along with 19th-century iron railings that include curved stiles. The gate on the wider opening to the right has been adapted from railings of a similar design.
