Description
This retaining wall, railings, and gates originally served the former Methodist Church. They date from circa 1830. The wall is constructed of brick and has stone copings along the top. Spearhead iron railings sit atop the stone copings. Stone gate piers feature shallow pyramidal caps, and the retaining wall is punctuated by cast-iron gates. The brick wall also extends along Lord Street, returning to the side of the church, and incorporates a further set of gates to the north of the church building.
