Description

A pair of houses with attached weavers' garrets, dating from around 1840. The houses are constructed of brick and have a slate roof. They are three storeys high, each with a double-pile single-unit plan and a workshop space in the upper storey. The houses have paired central entrances, each with a round arch and a radial fanlight above the door. The right-hand entrance leads to a passage, from which No. 22 is accessed. The ground floor windows are 12-pane sashes, while the windows above are 16-pane sashes, all with shallow, flat-arched, gauged brick heads. Small, long-paned windows provide light to the attic workshop space. Brick stacks are located at the ends of the building.
