Description
No. 1 Park Street is a house, now used as offices, built around 1840. It is constructed of brick and features a Welsh slate roof. The building has two storeys and a three-window range, with a central entrance bay that is slightly advanced and topped with a pediment. The doorway is flanked by sidelights and has a segmental fanlight above, all set within a portico supported by Corinthian columns. The lower windows are now two-pane sashes, while the upper windows are four-pane sashes. The central window above the door has a moulded architrave with an entablature supported by console brackets. The other windows feature flat-arched channelled painted stone heads with key blocks. Below the first-floor windows, there are painted stone aprons, and a plain string course runs along the building. At the eaves, there is a moulded cornice and blocking course, with the cornice extending across the central pediment. There are paired stacks on each gable.
