Description
Park Green House is a late 18th century house that is currently used as a surgery. It is constructed of brick and has a Welsh slate roof. The gable faces Sunderland Street and features a central full-height arched recess situated between two chimneys. There is a disused doorway framed by a stone architrave with Doric columns and sidelights. Above this doorway is an enriched Venetian window, which is flanked by Ionic pilasters and has open balustrading. At the apex of the gable, there is a semicircular window.
To the left of the disused doorway is a secondary doorway that now serves as the main entrance, complete with a projecting cornice supported by console brackets. The elevation facing Park Green consists of a four-window range, with a full-height canted bay window positioned to the right of the center. The bay window features 4-pane sash windows that are separated by slender stone pilasters. The other windows are also 4-pane sashes, with the upper right-hand window having 12 panes, and all windows have flat-arched gauged brick heads. The building is topped with a moulded cornice and a stuccoed panelled parapet.
