Description

Barclays Bank, located at Nos. 8 and 10 Park Green in Macclesfield, was built between 1841 and 1842 as a savings bank and continues to function as a bank today. The building is constructed of ashlar and features two storeys. The front elevation is dominated by a Greek Doric portico that includes a triglyph frieze and a pediment. The central entrance door is flanked by two-pane sash windows. The side elevations are blank.
