Description
The premises of W.A. Froud, a butcher's shop and house, likely date from the 19th century. The building is constructed of stone rubble with slate hanging above the ground floor and features a slate roof with gable ends. There is a stone rubble and brick end stack on the right side. The layout probably consists of two rooms with a cross passage, with the butcher's shop on the left and a small reception room on the right. The rear of the building was not inspected, so it is unclear if there are service rooms at the back.
The exterior is two storeys high and has an almost symmetrical front with two windows. It features a likely 20th-century panelled door, a 20th-century shop window to the left, and a 2-light casement window to the right. On the first floor, there are two 2-light casement windows. The interior has not been inspected.
