SW6225 THE WHARF, Porthleven 631-1/6/271 (West side) Former smithy, now part of The Ship Inn

GV II

Blacksmith's shop, now part of public house. Early C19. Painted rubble walls; grouted scantle slate roof sweeping lower over outshut to rear left; brick stack on right. Small L-shaped plan including outshut. Single storey; 1-window range. Original 16-pane hornless sash high up towards right blocked central doorway and doorway on left. Right-hand end has original 12-pane horizontal-sliding sash on left. Rear has C20 doorway. Outshut has doorway to east end. INTERIOR not inspected. Included for group value, as part of a planned early C19 port.
