Description
The building is a blacksmith's shop dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of coursed squared sandstone and brick, topped with a roof of pantiles. The structure is single-storey and consists of two bays. The left side features a Dutch door, while there is a Yorkshire sliding sash window with vertical glazing bars and external shutters. At the rear, there is a low offshot, and one end has a brick chimney, with the roof extending over the offshot. Inside, the shop retains a complete working smithy, including a hood, fire, and anvil.
