Description
This is a pair of village houses located on Commercial Road in Porthleven, dating from the early 19th century. They are constructed with rendered rubble and have an asbestos slate roof featuring rendered end stacks. The houses have a shallow-depth plan and rise to two storeys. The front is symmetrical with three windows and a central pair of doorways. The original windows are 16-pane hornless sashes, except for the central pair, which are late 19th or 20th century four-pane horned sashes. The mid-20th century top-glazed doors are accessed by a flight of five granite steps from either side. The interior has not been inspected. These houses are included for their group value.
