Description

The Flower Shop and The Old Mill Gifts is a shop with accommodation above, dating from around the mid-19th century. It is constructed of stone rubble and features a slate roof with gabled and hipped ends, along with brick axial stacks. The building has an overall rectangular plan, with a large shop on the ground floor and living space above, located on or near the site of one of Padstow's mills.

The exterior consists of two storeys and an attic. The south elevation showcases a pair of 19th-century shop fronts, with three 4-pane sash windows above and two full hipped dormers featuring 19th-century sashes. The right-hand corner is canted and includes a late 19th-century or early 20th-century window above. The west elevation has a 19th-century shop front on the ground floor, with a 20th-century door to the right, a 4-pane sash window, and a double sash window on the first floor. The attic features two full dormers with 19th-century sashes and hipped slate roofs.
