Description
Nos. 10 and 12, known as Caterers and 'Flowers & Things', are two shops with accommodation above, dating from the late 18th century to the mid-19th century. The building is constructed of rendered brick with painted stone dressings and features a pantile roof with gable stacks. It has a three-storey, three-bay front with quoins.
The right side has a late 18th-century shop front, which includes a doorway on the left with a reeded doorcase, a blocked overlight, and a partially glazed door. To the right, there is a bow window with a plinth and glazing bars. The left side features an early 19th-century shop front with a doorway on the right that has a moulded doorcase, an overlight, and a partially glazed door. There is a large plate window to the left, topped with a continuous moulded entablature and a hinged hood above.
Above the shop fronts, there are three plain sash windows, with three additional plain sashes above them, all featuring segmental heads, segmental hood moulds, and margin lights.
