Description
The Rodney Hotel is an early 19th century building, with some mid-19th century features. It is constructed of red brick and has stucco wedge dressings. The roof is made of pantiles and is hipped to the right, featuring moulded wooden eaves and both single hip and gable stacks. The hotel has three storeys and a five-bay front. The central doorway is flanked by rusticated pilasters and has a broad entablature with a moulded cornice, an overlight, and double panelled doors. On either side of the doorway, there are two plain sash windows, with five plain sash windows above and five more above those. All the windows have margin lights and voussoired wedge lintels.
