Description
Hideaway Pirouette is a building consisting of two shops with accommodation above, dating from the early 19th century and 20th century. It is constructed from rendered brick with some colourwashed stucco dressings and features a pantile roof with moulded eaves and a single ridge stack. The building is three stories high and has a four-bay front, with stucco quoins and two early 19th-century shop fronts side by side.
To the left, there is a doorway with a moulded doorcase, overlight, and a partially glazed door. On the right, a canted bay window has three lights, flanked by pilasters and fielded panels below. An identical canted shop window is located to the right, with a doorway beyond that also has a moulded doorcase, overlight, and partially glazed door. Above both shop fronts, a continuous moulded, bracketed entablature with a dentillated band runs across. The upper floors feature two glazing bar sashes, with two smaller glazing bar sashes above them, all with segmental heads.
