Description

York House is a house dating from the early to mid-19th century. It is constructed of brick with a colourwashed render and features a slate roof with moulded wooden eaves and gable stacks. The building has three storeys and a three-bay front. The central doorway is flanked by Doric half columns and has a small entablature, an overlight, and a panelled door. On either side of the doorway are single plain sash windows, with three plain sash windows above and three more plain sash windows above those. All the windows have segmental heads and margin lights.
