Description
The Argal chest tomb, located approximately 16 metres south of the Church of St Maddern, is an early 19th-century memorial dedicated to Philip Argal of Polgooth, who died in 1819 at the age of 54. The tomb features granite ashlar sides and a square-edged incised granite lid, with a rectangular plan.
