Description

This is an 18th-century house located on the south-east side of Fore Street in Tregony. The exterior is constructed of painted slatestone rubble and has a scantle slate roof with brick chimneys set into the gable ends. The house follows a central stair plan and has a 3-window front. A six-panel door, with the two upper panels glazed, is situated slightly off-centre to the right. The window openings contain 4-paned timber sash windows with horns. The eaves were raised, likely in the late 19th century. Inside, original features include a straight wooden staircase, a mid-18th century wooden fireplace surround, and two-panel doors leading to rooms on both the ground and first floors.
