PADSTOW MARKET PLACE (east side), Padstow SW 9075-9175 8/99 No. 11, Kelvin Platt Gallery and shop adjoining on south west

Art gallery and shop with accommodation above. Circa early C19. Painted stone rubble. Cement washed slate roof with gable ends and hipped end to canted corner. Plan: The Art Gallery comprises the corner plot on Market Place and The Strand with an entrance in the canted corner flanked by two C19 shop fronts. The alley to the left opens into a small court and the shop which adjoins to right, on Market Place comprises a C20 shop front with entrance on right. Exterior: 2 storeys. Regular 2:1:4 window front with entrance in canted corner; C20 door flanked by 2 late C19 shop fronts. Further shop window and entrance in alley on left and further C19 shop window to right. C20 shop front and entrance on far right. First floor with blind window in canted corner. C19 16-pane sash and sash with glazing bars removed to left and blocked window, sash without glazing bars and 2 C20 windows to right. Interior: not inspected.
