Description

The bandstand, built in 1897, is located in Victoria Park, Truro. It features dressed granite, cast-iron, and wood, with an octagonal shape and a tented lead roof topped with a weather vane. The structure has a granite plinth and iron balustrades, each adorned with two sun symbols on either side. At each corner, there are cast-iron columns that have a spiral twist up to the dado level, and the bandstand is finished with shaped wooden fascia boards.
