There is a later 19th-century single-storey outbuilding attached at either end, with the right-hand building probably originally serving as a piggery, now used as a cartshed. The house is two storeys high and has a symmetrical northwest front with two windows and a central doorway, which features a 20th-century ledged door and early 20th-century four-pane, two-light casements. The property is part of an unspoiled coastal hamlet located within the ancient field system of this area of Cornwall.
