PADSTOW MARKET PLACE (east side), Padstow SW 9075-9175 8/97 No 3, Cornish Candy and shop adjoining on north

GV II

House possibly divided into a pair of shops with accommodation above. Circa mid C18, partly altered in C19 and in late C20. Rendered and painted probably stone rubble. Steeply pitched bitumen coated slate roof with hipped ends. Plan: Probably double depth plan divided in C19 to form 2 shops on ground floor with accommodation above. Right hand shop remodelled in C20. Exterior: 2 storeys and attic. Regular 3 window front with late C19 shop front on left and C20 shop front on right. Rendered and painted above ground floor with quoins and moulded eaves cornice. 3 tall narrow sashes without glazing bars. Full dormer in attic to left with casement and louvered opening and flat roof.
