Description
Malo is a small house, likely dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of stone rubble, with the front elevation covered in rag slates. The roof is slate, with gable ends, and has brick chimney shafts at each end. The original layout comprised two rooms and a cross or through passage, with the two rooms heated by end stacks. The front elevation is almost symmetrical, with two windows on each floor. A central 20th-century plank door is set within a 19th-century slate-hung porch, which has a slate hipped roof. A 2-light casement window is situated to the left, and a 20th-century window to the right. Two 19th-century 2-light casement windows are on the first floor. The interior was not inspected.
