Description

A farmhouse, likely dating from the early 19th century. The building is constructed of painted stone rubble, with some areas finished in slate hanging. It has a rag slate roof with gable ends, and brick chimney shafts at each end. The plan is double depth, with a central entrance leading to two main rooms at the front, heated by the end stacks, and smaller service rooms at the rear. The front facade is almost symmetrical with three windows. It features a 19th-century panelled front door, a sash window to the left, and a 19th-century casement window to the right. A 20th-century open-fronted porch has been added across the left-hand side of the front elevation. On the first floor are three 19th-century two-light casement windows, with a blind window opening positioned between the central and left-hand windows. The interior has not been inspected.
