Description

This is an early 19th-century farmhouse situated to the northwest of the settlement. The building is constructed from painted stone rubble with a rag slate roof featuring gable ends. Brick chimney shafts are visible, one at the left end of the house and another set laterally at the rear right. Originally, the farmhouse comprised two rooms arranged in a single depth, with a central entrance. The left-hand room was heated by a stack at the end, while the right-hand room had a lateral stack at the rear. The right-hand room was likely partially partitioned with a small dairy positioned on the right side, ventilated via a window in the gable. A later 19th or 20th-century outshut has been added to the rear. The symmetrical front façade has three windows, with segmental arches above the ground-floor openings. A central 19th-century plank door is flanked by four likely 19th-century two-light casement windows. Three similar casement windows are on the first floor. A small window, serving the dairy, is visible in the right-hand side wall. The interior has not been inspected.
