4/76 Nanshuttal Farmhouse - 30-5-67 II

Farmhouse. C17. Painted slatestone rubble walls. Dry, Delabole slate roof with stone rubble chimney over gable end left and hip to right. Originally 2 room cross passage plan plus rear service wing and extended with rear outshut C19. 2 storeys. 5 window, north west front. Nearly central doorway with original 12-panel oak door. Wide opening, left with C20 wooden casements and 2 windows. To right with tripartite sashes with glazing bars. First floor has 16-panel hornless sashes in original openings. Original ovolo moulded and stopped lintels survive to first floor openings 1, 2 and 5. Interior said to have original C17 stair, a C17 plaster ceiling and 2 C17 doors.
