Description

Victory Cottage is an 18th-century house located in St Just in Roseland. It features painted slatestone rubble walls and grouted scantle slate roofs. The front part of the house has gable ends, while the adjoining taller building has a parallel hipped roof at the rear with a valley between. Originally designed with a two-room plan, it has since been modified to a double-depth layout. The house is two storeys high and has a symmetrical road front with three windows on the east side, a central doorway with a 20th-century door, and 16-pane hornless sash windows. The window above the door is blind, and wooden lintels are cemented over with slate sills. The interior has not been inspected. Victory Cottage is included in the listing for its group value.
