Shown as No.9 on OS map. Town house, now shop with offices. Late C18 or early C19. Brick to ground floor, stucco on studwork above; asbestos slate hipped roof. Plan altered to create corner shop circa late C19. Three storeys; 3-window front to High Cross, 2-window front to Cathedral Lane. Moulded architraves; circa early C19 hornless sashes with glazing bars, 12-, 16- and 20-pane sashes except old wide fixed light to 1st floor of Cathedral Lane front. Complete circa late C19 double corner shop front with 3 elliptically-headed lights to each shop window plus return lights into corner doorway; slender turned mullions; glazed door with 2 bottom panels, overlight, and moulded entablature to squat fascia. INTERIOR not inspected.
