They are constructed from granite and killas rubble with granite dressings, topped by a slurried scantle slate roof with gable ends. The building has a rectangular plan featuring a pair of stables on the ground floor, with a loft above. The loft includes central opposing loading or winnowing doorways, with the rear doorway accessible via a flight of stone steps. The exterior is two storeys high and features a nearly symmetrical east front, which has a pair of doorways in the middle, a window on each side, a central first floor doorway, and a small ventilator window on the first floor to the right. The interior has not been inspected.
