Description

This milestone, located approximately 800 metres east of Little Hendragreen, is likely from the early 19th century. It is a rectangular granite post with a rounded top, painted and inscribed with black letters. The inscription reads 'L 3'. This milestone is associated with the Turnpike road act for roads leading into Launceston, which was passed in 1760.
