Description

Milestone located to the south of Tremblary Cottage, dating from the early to mid 19th century. This milestone is a granite monolith with a rectangular shape. It is inscribed with the letter "L" and the number "12." The milestone relates to the Turnpike Road Act for roads leading into Launceston, which was passed in 1761.
