Milestone. Probably early C19. Granite post, rectangular-on-plan with rounded top. Inscribed 'L 1' Turnpike road act for roads leading into Launceston passed in 1760 (33 Geo. II c.58). Albert, W. The Turnpike Road System in England 1663-1840 1972.
