Description

A planned pair of cottages located on North Street in Launceston, dating from the mid-19th century. The cottages are constructed from slatestone rubble, with slatehanging at the ends, and have a dry slate roof with rubble axial and end stacks. They follow a single-depth plan with a rear extension to the right-hand cottage (No.2). The cottages are two storeys high and have a four-window front. Number 3 retains older two-light casement windows, and has a lean-to addition on the left side. Number 2 has 20th-century replacement windows and a 20th-century front door. The interiors have not been inspected. The cottages are included on the list for their group value.
