Description

9 Duke Street is an 18th-century house in a row, remodelled in the 19th century. It is located on the south side of Duke Street in Launceston. The front is of painted rubble, with the remainder of the building constructed of rubble. It has a steep rag slate roof. The house has a shallow-depth plan and two storeys, with a three-window front. The windows are casements with glazing bars, each with a segmental brick arch above. These are two-light casements except for a three-light casement on the ground floor to the right. There is a ledged door. The interior has not been inspected.
