Description

Nos. 17 and 19 Duke Street are part of a row of cottages dating from the late 18th century. The front is rendered, likely over rubble or cob, and features a steep rag roof with a central rendered axial stack. The building has a shallow-depth plan and stands two storeys high with a two-window range. The windows are possibly original casements with glazing bars, except for a 20th-century window on the ground floor of No. 17 (to the left). The first floor has two-light casements, while the ground floor has three-light casements. There are doorways on both the left and right sides, with 20th-century doors. The interior has not been inspected.
