They are constructed from dressed stone and feature a slate roof, with a single brick gable stack and a single stone ridge stack. The cottages are two storeys high and consist of two bays. The windows are 20th-century casements. Number 46, on the left, has a slated lean-to porch and a casement window to the right. Number 44 has a gabled timber porch and a casement window to the right, with two additional casements above. These cottages are included for their group value.
