Description
Numbers 52, 54, and 56 are three cottages located on Albert Street in Mansfield Woodhouse, dating from the mid-19th century. They are constructed of dressed stone with stone dressings and feature a slate roof, with two ridge stacks and a single gable stack. The cottages are two storeys high, plus garrets, and consist of three bays. The windows are modern 20th-century glazing bar casements. The west front displays three regular facades, with a door on the left and a single casement on the right. There are two doors to the right that have pedimented lintels, and above these, there are three casements. The north gable features a single casement for the garret. Additionally, there is an adjoining boundary wall made of dressed stone, approximately 25 meters long, with shaped coping. This wall is included for its group value only.
