Description

A pair of cottages and an adjoining house dating from the early 19th century, situated on Albert Street, Mansfield Woodhouse. The buildings are constructed of dressed stone with a slate roof, incorporating stone dressings and two ridge stacks. The arrangement is of a single range, with two storeys plus garrets and four bays. Numbers 22 and 24 each feature a lean-to rear addition with a pantile roof. Number 20, on the right-hand side, has a central doorcase with a cornice, crest, and acroteria, framing a 19th-century panelled door, flanked by casement windows. Above the doorcase are two casement windows. Numbers 22 and 24 each have a door to the left and a casement window to the right, with two casement windows above. The north gable has a 20th-century casement window to the garret. The rear of Number 20 has two casement windows and a door to the right, with three casement windows above, the central one being smaller. To the right, Numbers 22 and 24 each have a casement window and a door, and a single casement window above.
