Description

40 and 42 Albert Street are two cottages built in the early to mid 19th century. They are constructed from dressed stone and feature pantile and slate roofs, with a single gable and ridge stacks. The cottages are two storeys high and have two bays. The windows are modern casements with glazing bars. On the west front, the left side has two casements, while to the right is a roughcast brick addition with a casement. Further to the right, there is a glazed lean-to porch that includes a door and a casement. Above this, there are two more casements, and to the left, there is a modern flat-roofed dormer.
