Description
Nos. 48 and 50 Albert Street are a pair of cottages built in the early 19th century. They are constructed from dressed stone and feature a 20th-century pantile roof with a single central ridge stack. The cottages are two storeys high with garrets and consist of two bays. Each end has a single-storey lean-to outbuilding. The windows are 20th-century casements. No. 50, on the left, has two casements and a 20th-century glazed porch in the return angle. To the right of the porch, there is a recessed 20th-century door and another casement. No. 48 has one casement and a door to the right, followed by another door and a casement. Above, there are two casements, and each gable features a single casement in the garret. These cottages are included in the register for their group value.
